A Real Estate Title is a document that is evidence of real estate ownership. It is also a short history of a piece of property that lists any transfers in ownership, as well as any liabilities attached to it, such as mortgages.
At FrickTrent, PLLC we make every effort to ensure that our Title Review service protects our clients from any defects that the title may have. We will research all the recorded records related to a property and prepare a written history, to see our clients are protected at every level and if not, to advise accordingly.
FrickTrent, PLLC also provides a Title Insurance service. This insurance is meant to protect an owner's or lender's financial interest in real property against loss due to title defects, liens or other matters. It will defend against a lawsuit attacking the title as it is insured, or reimburse the insured for the actual monetary loss incurred, up to the dollar amount of insurance provided by the policy.
