Charlotte, NC - Well-known local attorney, Tracy Frick, partner at the real estate law practice of FrickTrent, PLLC, has been named a judge in the American Bar Association's 2011-2012 National Appellate Advocacy Competition (NAAC) in Washington DC.
"It is indeed an honor to serve as a judge on the panel in this prestigious competition for law students across the country. I was once one of the entrants in this competition and was lucky enough to be placed, so it's important to me to be able to give back to the American Bar Association by giving of my time to study the entries for this competition,"says Ms. Frick.
Ms. Frick will travel to DC later this month to deliberate on the entries at the E.Barrett Prettyman Federal Courthouse in the heart of Washington DC. Entrants will be judged on a number of criteria for the awards in the American Bar Association's DC Moot Court Competition. They include, Substantive Content of Argument; Knowledge of the Record; Extemporaneous Ability and Courtroom Demeanor and Professionalism.
Tracy Frick is a member of the SC Bar and serves on the Boards of various non-profit organizations including Collaborative Arts Theater Charlotte, Union County 4H Foundation, and is the immediate past President of the Appalachian School of Law Alumni Association.
